Large Medici Vase
The Medici Vase is named after the influential and wealthy Medici family, who ruled in northern Italy during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, especially in the Tuscany area, with Florence as its capital. The shape of the vase dates back centuries but was recreated during the construction of Villa Medici in Rome in 1598.
Over time, the Medici Vase has been made from marble, stone, and cast iron. MITH.CPH has sought to give the vase a new look. With rattan as the material, the vase takes on a warmer and lighter appearance, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. However, we recommend protecting the vase from wind and weather when used outdoors. Our Medici Vase comes in three sizes. Use it for flowers, plants, or as a statement piece.
